Todrick Hall Reacts To Celebrity Big Brother Backlash; Says “I’m Not Always Nice”

Reality TV

Todrick Hall had a wild ride on Celebrity Big Brother. Todrick slipped out of his first alliance with Queer Eye star Carson Kressley, former Real Housewives of Atlanta peach Cynthia Bailey, and Shanna Moakler. Todrick and UFC champion Miesha Tate aligned themselves and became the unbreakable power couple in the CBB house.

Miesha evicted Cynthia during the finale, and Miesha and Todrick faced the jury. Todrick got his hands really dirty, and the jury wasn’t going to give him a pass. Miesha received seven votes, with only Cynthia voting for Todrick. Ouch! The rest of the jury had the opportunity to watch the show and saw what Todrick had been doing behind their backs. They weren’t happy when it was time to vote.

When Miesha put Carson up for eviction, Shanna won the Power of Veto and saved him. Carson won Head of Household, and he put Miesha on the block. But Todrick convinced him that Shanna was playing both sides of the Big Brother house. Then Todrick lied and said that Shanna was gunning for Carson. So, Carson back-doored Shanna, and saved Miesha. Oof. I literally shouted at my TV.

Carson, who had worked with Todrick on RuPaul’s Drag Race, said, “I just kind of thought, ‘Well, this guy wouldn’t be misleading me this dramatically.’” Oops! Carson expressed how sorry he was for evicting Shanna.

Actor Todd Bridges slammed Todrick for playing “an evil game.” Chris Kirkpatrick, of NSYNC fame, had a problem with Todrick because Todrick brought up the singer’s son. Chris commented, “It’s hard when someone plays a victim all the time and is a bully.”

Todrick canceled all the interviews that were scheduled for February 23, 2022 after the finale. That made Todrick look like a sore loser.

Page Six reported that Todrick spoke out on Instagram about his CBB experience. “This has been the hardest month and 1/2 of my life, but tonight my 7th World Tour kicks off in Seattle,” Todrick wrote. “I haven’t avoided press because I’m afraid to comment on my experience on big brother, but more to protect myself and my mental health to make sure I could actually get my show on stage and fulfill my obligations to my fans and my PAID employees,” he stated.

The entertainer continued, “I have no desire to prove myself to people who were never rooting for me to begin with, but I do want to say to my fans that I will be commenting on my experience once the show is open, because I feel you deserve it. Thanks to everyone who watched and supported me in the bb house. It was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, but I’m glad I did it,” Todrick explained.

“I am a human being, a real one…I’m not always nice, not always kind nor have I ever claimed to be. I’m very flawed, I’m a work in progress, but that’s the beauty of being human,” he stated. “I have made a ton of mistakes in my life and I will continue to make mistakes, some publicly and some privately.”

Todrick added, “I will address things in my own way and in my own time, until then thanks for the love, the kind words, the direct messages, it’s really meant so much to me. I love you I love you I love you all and I can’t wait to see you and meet you all on tour.”
