Todrick Hall admitted he is “not always nice” in his first comments since losing “Celebrity Big Brother” in a near-unanimous vote.
“I am a human being, a real one…I’m not always nice, not always kind nor have I ever claimed to be,” the YouTuber wrote on Instagram Saturday.
“I’m very flawed, I’m a work in progress, but that’s the beauty of being human. I have made a ton of mistakes in my life and I will continue to make mistakes, some publicly and some privately.”
Hall, 36, also addressed his decision to cancel press interviews after he faced major backlash from his “Big Brother” housemates and viewers about his dishonest gameplay.
“I haven’t avoided press because I’m afraid to comment on my experience on big brother, but more to protect myself and my mental health to make sure I could actually get my show on stage and fulfill my obligations to my fans and my PAID employees,” he wrote, referring to his Femuline Tour, which kicked off Saturday night in Seattle.
However, the entertainer did tease that some fans may be lucky enough to hear his side of the story during his tour.
“I have no desire to prove myself to people who were never rooting for me to begin with, but I do want to say to my fans that I will be commenting on my experience once the show is open, because I feel you deserve it,” he wrote.
Hall then thanked the fans who supported him, calling the last month and a half the “hardest” of his life.
“Thanks to everyone who watched and supported me in the bb house,” he concluded. “It was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, but I’m glad I did it.”
The singer and dancer lost Season 3 of the CBS reality show in February to his sole ally, mixed martial artist Miesha Tate, who received seven of eight votes to win.
Prior to the finale, contestants including actor Todd Bridges, former NBA player Lamar Odom and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Teddi Mellencamp had turned on Hall and accused him of backstabbing them to get to the end.
