Cynthia Bailey Says Friendship With Kenya Moore Isn’t “Where It Used To Be” After Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Fallout

Reality TV

Cynthia Bailey is recovering from a rough stint on the latest installment of Celebrity Big Brother. And if you know anything about Celebrity Big Brother, it’s all about alliances. Which didn’t work out to well for Cynthia. Unfortunately for her, she’s no stranger to shifting alliances from her time on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Cynthia announced her exit from the franchise, but joined the cast of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

The show featured Housewives from all different franchises who are known for their drama. I think Cynthia undoubtedly went into the experience assuming that it would be a positive experience given that longtime friend and RHOA castmate Kenya Moore would also be there

But instead of bringing them together, RHUGT ripped them apart. Cynthia came off as needy, boring and had a hard time connecting with the other women. Kenya flourished and made friend after friend. Well, right after she read Ramona Singer for filth. It seemed to catch Cynthia off guard and she fought harder for Kenya’s attention, while denying her support when she had to appear for virtual divorce proceedings while filming. By the time the ladies packed up and left, it was clear that their friendship was not in a good place.

As reported by the Instagram account The Peach Report Daily, Cynthia made a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live and revealed where she stands with Kenya. She started, “Again, I will always have love in my heart for Kenya.” She continued, “You know, relationships, friendships go up and down. And it’s really tough. I’ve learned to maintain healthy relationships on, you know, when you work together on a platform like this sometimes.”

Cynthia added, “So, I love Kenya. I will always have love for her, but we are not where we used to be.”

Host Andy Cohen asked, “Did you sit down and talk after it was over?” presumably talking about how they left RHUGT. Cynthia responded, “We did talk on the phone. We did have a conversation on the phone. A lengthy conversation. A very lengthy conversation. And it was really good. It was really good but it wasn’t like….it was a conversation that could be more conversations.”

Cynthia concluded on a positive note, “But I’m so happy for her. I think she did amazing on Dancing With The Stars. I was cheering for her. Brooklyn [Daly] is incredible, she’s so beautiful. And you know, I’m good. I’m good and I love her.”
