‘My Unorthodox Life’ Season 2 will focus on Julia Haart ‘single, dating’

Reality TV

Julia Haart is single and ready to mingle in front of Netflix cameras for Season 2 of her hit show, “My Unorthodox Life.”

On Wednesday, Haart was fired from her job as CEO of Elite World Group. She then immediately filed for divorce from her husband of three years Silvio Scaglia, the owner of the modeling company.

It seems Haart isn’t leaving without a fight. Her attorney, Richard Edlin of Greenberg Traurig, tells us: “The action taken to remove Julia Haart from her position as CEO was unauthorized and of no legal effect.  She is a 50-percent owner of the business and one [of] the two directors. Unfortunately this comes at a time when Julia and Silvio are in the beginning of divorce proceedings. Julia will enforce all of her legal rights and remedies.”

And while getting canned was a complete surprise to Haart, according to sources, her split from Scaglia was not.

A source told Page Six in December that they were separated and headed to Splitsville — and we hear Netflix had been planning to incorporate it into the show.

“The whole basis of Season 2 was going to be seeing Julia separated from Silvio and dating in the city,” says a source — who added that’s still the plan for the show.

“They only started filming six days ago. She would have filed for divorce before the premiere to drum up press.”

Haart and Scaglia wed in June 2019. They met while she was the creative director of La Perla, and he was the CEO.

“He was there a lot,” Haart told the New York Times of the couple working together. “The first year of our interaction was me yelling at him. I was horrible to him. But I had a lot of respect for him.

“As sheltered as my life had been, his life had been the diametric opposite. He’d been everywhere. He’d seen everything. And when I yelled at him, he took it like a man. That made me happy.”

Haart — who shares four children with her first husband, Yosef Hendler — wed Scaglia in June 2019.

The reality star posted a pic of the two of them beaming together via Instagram last week, writing, “And just like that… we’re back! Day 1 of filming is complete.”

Haart’s daughter Batsheva split from her husband of nine years Ben Weinstein in November. That storyline will also be incorporated in the show, we hear.

Reps for Netflix didn’t immediately get back to us.
