He tapped out.
Luke Gulbranson explains that he was MIA for the first few weekends of “Summer House” because of a situation with his family in his native Minnesota.
“Well, listen, I’m late coming in, because I have some things happening back in in Minnesota that I needed to be home for,” the North Star State maple tapper tells Page Six.
“You will find out about that as the season goes on.”
Gulbranson, 38, says that fans will see a new side to him while he balances a fun single summer and things back home.
“I think the big thing with me personally is dealing with like family stuff and things back in Minnesota, all at the same time. I’m here to have fun, and then I’m juggling business stuff with like my jewelry and trying to expand and grow my business and take advantage of opportunities that come our way,” he says.
The Bravolebrity returns beginning with Episode 4 on Monday night, no doubt to the delight of fans who have been wondering when the Midwestern hunk will come back.
“Another week with no Luke?! I’m activated,” a fan tweeted.
“WHERE THE HECK IS LUKE ???” another added.
“Two weekends without Luke makes me sad. He could have already constructed a cabana and started on a tree fort by now,” another joked about his handiwork skills.
Gulbranson teases that when he does reappear, fans will see his “emotional rollercoaster” throughout Season 6,
“There are ups and downs; I’m being pulled in a lot of different directions,” he tells us. “So for me, it was a fun, fun summer, but also like an emotional roller coaster for me.”
He adds, “It was interesting, because you’ll see I come in, and I’m super ready to have all this fun, but in the back of my mind, I have some things back home happening. So I’m kind of like torn between like having fun, but also the responsibility of the things that I have going on in my life with family and stuff back home.”
Gulbranson reveals that he was single over the summer — and remains so currently —but he’s looking for a more serious partner now.
“I’m finally in a place where I am ready to really be in a relationship,” he says. “I’m looking actively to find somebody. … It’s time for me to to find somebody. I really feel like the place in my life. I’m ready for it.”
“Summer House” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
