Fans of 90 Day Fiancé expect that season 9 will return sometime this spring, though there’s no word on who the couples will be. However, it’s not uncommon for the show to feature cast members who have been in the franchise before, and there are a few couples from franchise spin-offs who would fit right in with the cast next season.
It’s been over a year since the debut of 90 Day Fiancé season 8, and many fans still feel disappointed by it. Many of the season 8 couples were unpopular, and casting several of them on the following season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? only made viewers more irritated. So, hopes are high that there will be several new cast members who haven’t been seen in the franchise before. But TLC has a habit of recycling stars from other spin-offs, and these are the couples fans are most likely to see again on season 9.
Hamza Moknii & Memphis Sandoval
Michigan nurse Memphis flew to Tunisia to meet Hamza on the latest season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, but on the show they’re currently butting heads over Memphis’ desire for a prenup and speedy wedding. However, an ex of Memphis claims that Hamza is now in America and that the couple has had a baby together. If that’s true, then Hamza’s K1 paperwork probably went through, which makes the couple prime candidates for 90 Day Fiancé.
Ariela Weinberg & Biniyam Shibre
Last season on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Ari and Bini’s relationship went through a major rough patch. Their story culminated in Ariela giving Biniyam an ultimatum—follow me to the U.S. on the K1-visa, or we split. Later, it was revealed on the Tell All that Biniyam is living in America on the K1-visa. He’s been residing in New Jersey with Ariela and their son Avi and regularly posts updates on Instagram about his first winter stateside. Though Ariela and Biniyam are a divisive couple, TLC might be counting on the buzz they could bring to season 9.
Amber Graney & Daniel Salazar
Although the new spin-off Love in Paradise: The Caribbean mostly flew under the radar, one standout couple was Amber and Daniel. Amber met Daniel while on vacation in Costa Rica, but though there’s clearly a lot of love between the two, Amber worries Daniel isn’t mature and proactive enough for her. However, at the end of the season, Daniel’s K1-visa was approved and he arrived in the U.S. Though Amber and Daniel weren’t the most popular couple on Love in Paradise, they could transition seamlessly into season 9.
Fans may not want to see these couples again, but they’re the franchise alum most likely to make their 90 Day Fiancé debut next season. It shouldn’t be too much longer before the season 9 cast is announced, and there’s a significant chance that there will be some familiar names on the list.
