Both Austen Kroll and Craig were always overshadowed on their original show Southern Charm with stud Shep Rose, cringy old Thomas Ravenel and momma’s boy Whitney Sudler-Smith stealing the airtime. Frick and Frack, aka Craig and Austen, were typically portrayed as drunken, overly sensitive, frat boys. But they have made a serious jump in status. These dudes have somehow found themselves in centerstage of hot girl summer and winter.
The magical crossover with cast from Southern Charm meshing with Summer House combined to birth Winter House. What a genius production. It is the gift that keeps giving. Other reality stars have now been sucked in for fun flings and juice galore. Insert Uncommon James Founder and Hills Alum Kristin Cavallari.
Tabloids have captured Kristin, Austen and Craig hanging in Charleston since summer of 2020 following her split from Jay Cutler in April 2020. The trio maintained they were friends until recently.
Pot stirrer Lindsay Hubbard busted out the messy truth on a recent episode of Summer House when she claimed Craig was having a fling with the Laguna Beach blondie. Something that made Paige DeSorbo pause since she was casually dating/possibly sleeping with him also.

It wasn’t just Linds who was aware of this information – who supposedly heard it from old friend/crush Austen – but Lumberjack Luke Gulbranson was also privy. However, Luke was admirably following Bro Code and keeping his mouth shut.
“I knew about the Kristin thing because I was with Craig on the 4th of July. So, I knew about it. I didn’t know how things were gonna go down,” Luke said in a story in Us Weekly. “It wasn’t my place to say anything, but apparently all this stuff happened. I heard about it, but I didn’t hear about it until after the fact.”
The cast of Summer House and viewers were always suspect on exactly who Kristin was hooking up with… Austen or Craig, although she maintained it was neither.
“I haven’t been involved in a love triangle since I was in high school,” Kristin wrote via Instagram in July 2021. “I haven’t dated anybody in a few months. These two guys who I have been linked to for the past year are my friends. That’s it. I’ve never dated either one of them. I can guarantee that I’m not going to date either one of them. It’s possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man.”

Let’s be honest, THESE characters have all been REAL characters on TV for years. Is anyone supposed to believe they all just sat around drinking tea in Charleston while dishing tea? UMMM No…HELLO.
“Lindsay, was like, on the, like, whole car ride with Austen, she was like, ‘Who was Kristin hooking up with? Craig or Austen?’” Paige said. Craig interrupted her to say that Austen “hates that I was making out [with Kristin].”
Paige was not exactly happy to jump into yet another love triangle. “I look like I’m in this love triangle that I didn’t ask to be in,” she told Craig in a recent episode. He reassured her that wasn’t the scenario.
Paige asked, “Are you still f **king her?” Bravo teased that the conversation would be continued next week. That would have been a great cliffhanger had this not been filmed seven months ago and the audience didn’t know Paige and Sewing Down South founder Craig are in fact an item. So apparently it didn’t matter if he was “still f**king her” because he’s with Paige now.
