Alice Glass has pushed back the release date for her debut solo album Prey//IV. Originally slated for release today (January 28), the LP will now arrive on February 16 via her own Eating Glass Records. Glass has also shared a new single from the record titled “Love Is Violence,” along with an extremely gory music video directed by Bryan M. Ferguson. That’s it below.
“Almost everyone can relate to the sometimes unbearable ups and downs that occur in relationships,” Glass said of the inspiration for “Love Is Violence” in a press release. She continued:
Prey//IV is the first full-length from Glass since she left her former band Crystal Castles back in 2014. In 2017, she issued the Alice Glass EP. Prey//IV features Glass’ previously-shared tracks “I Trusted You,” “Suffer and Swallow,” and “Fair Game.”
