Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has shared a heartwarming video of his daughter pulling a pranking him. The wrestler-turned-actor has become one of Hollywood’s most successful performers over the course of the last two decades. Last year saw him debut in both Disney’s Jungle Cruise and Red Notice, with more projects set to hit theaters this year.
Johnson has been a Hollywood mainstay since the early 2000s when he appeared in The Mummy Returns. That cameo role quickly led to a lead performance in the spinoff movie, The Scorpion King, which led to other 2000s films like The Rundown, Walking Tall, and Gridiron Gang, all of which helped raise his star persona. In the 2010s, his career skyrocketed with his franchise output, such as his role as Luke Hobbs in the Fast & Furious franchise, as well as his various comedic collaborations with Kevin Hart in the Jumanji films and Central Intelligence. Through it all, he has maintained a consistent public persona as a family man, even forming a strong working relationship and producing partnership with his ex-wife, Dany Garcia.
Much of The Rock’s public persona is based around his interactions with his young children, whom he posts about on social media. In fact, the actor has just posted a hilarious and adorable new video of one of his daughters pranking him by smearing peanut butter in his face. Check out the video below:
How much Johnson actually knew about his daughter’s peanut butter prank before the cameras started rolling is unclear, but what is clear is that he seems to enjoy spending his limited free time with his family. In recent years, he has made a habit of posting about his children and their strong bond, making it apparent that he wants to make time for fatherhood in his incredibly busy schedule, even if that means getting a face full of peanut butter. Of course, as a man known for his impressive workouts and muscles, he could call the peanut butter feast a cheat day.
Johnson’s latest film, Red Notice, can currently be seen on Netflix. The next projects on his slate are DC League of Super-Pets and Black Adam, both of which are set to debut in theaters later this year. Johnson has unquestionably become one of the busiest actors and businessmen in Hollywood, but clearly, he is still finding a way to spend quality time with his family.
