Talk about a series of unfortunate events.
Sadie Robertson revealed she started 2022 by contracting “flurona” — a combination of the seasonal flu and COVID-19 — shortly before discovering a rat invasion inside her home.
“Tbh the start to this year has been quite interesting … it started off by me getting FLURONA (flu + covid) (yikes),” the “Duck Dynasty” star wrote in a post shared to Instagram over the weekend.
“Then as we were on our way home from ATL we got a call that we have a couple of rats invading our home and those little guys are doing some workkk.”
Robertson, 24, explained that due to the infestation, she and husband Christian Huff – along with their 7-month-old daughter, Honey James – were unable to go home as planned.
“It’s day 4 of not being able to get them and being out of our house,” Robertson shared with her followers. “It’s disgusting and we are exhausted from getting over sickness and being out of our home.”
The reality star concluded her post by joking that the animated Disney flick “Ratatouille” isn’t quite as enjoyable anymore.
“So here we are floating around trying to make the most of it. Thankful to be healthy now. Lord, help us to consider it joy!” she wrote. “P.s. I’m sad to say ‘Ratatouille’ the movie hits different now.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Robertson has contracted COVID-19.
The “Dancing With the Stars” alum previously opened up about being hospitalized after testing positive for the coronavirus while pregnant with her baby girl in October 2020.
“Life update: I’m not going to lie, this has been one of the most challenging things. I got COVID-19 and ended up getting very sick,” Robertson wrote at the time, alongside a snap of herself in a hospital bed.
“I know everyone experiences COVID differently, but wow these symptoms are wild. I’ve definitely struggled through this one!”
