Lisa Hochstein is doing an about-face.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six Style, the “Real Housewives of Miami” star and Hochstein Medspa owner, 39, said that she is removing residual facial fillers after going “overboard” years back.
“I did go overboard when we first opened our Medspa because everything was so accessible to me,” said the reality TV personality, who opened her business alongside husband Dr. Lenny Hochstein — a famed plastic surgeon revered as South Florida’s “Boob God” — in 2017.
“I probably put too much of everything in my face and I probably stopped doing all of that in the past two years. I’ve actually removed a lot of filler,” she elaborated.
“It’s a work in progress.”
According to the mom of two — who shares son Logan, 6, and daughter Elle, 2, with Lenny, 55 — “filler is not the answer” to a youthful look.
“I really think lasers and peels [work better],” she said, revealing her new MO when it comes to noninvasive cosmetic procedures: “A little bit goes a long way.”
Aside from indulging in free services, Lisa told us that she enjoys the purpose — and, more importantly, the independence in her marriage — that commanding over the Hochstein Medspa provides.
“I love that [Lenny and I] work together, but we don’t have to see each other every day. I think if we had to see each other for 24 hours a day, it would be horrible for our relationship,” she said with a laugh.
“He’s on the first floor, I’m on the fourth floor. So, that really helps things!”
Lisa also reflected on Magic City’s unique approach to plastic surgery, acknowledging that “big butts” have become ubiquitous. (On the “RHOM” Season 4 premiere, Adriana de Moura accused Larsa Pippen of enhancing her derriere to emulate the celebrated backside of her ex-BFF, Kim Kardashian.)
“I feel like there are a lot of big butts in Miami,” Lisa said. “I don’t see too much of that in LA … In Miami, it’s hot all year round. You’re on the beach all year round. You can wear little clothing all year round.”
The former Playboy model — who underwent a breast augmentation at age 18 and received a revision from her spouse more than a decade ago — noted that Miami residents are “definitely more conscious” of external appearances.
“There’s a lot of body work in Miami,” she said. “[But] there’s a lot of everything work in Miami!”
“The Real Housewives of Miami” is available to stream on Peacock.
