Tamra Judge Says Production “Made Me Look Bad In My Last Season”

Reality TV

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge isn’t shy about discussing her time on the show. In January of 2020, Tamra opted to turn in her orange after being offered a part-time role. “I was offered a chance to come back to the show in a limited role but would prefer to walk away on my own terms,” Tamra remarked.

Tamra wasn’t even offered a part-time deal. It was for a paltry three-episode arc to finish up her story on RHOC. There was no way that Tamra would accept that offer. “I think Tamra — as I’ve said many times — was one of the greats and I hope at some point, either now or in the future, we’ll do more with her,” Andy Cohen commented.

Since her departure, Tamra has been busy. She has continued to spar with the lone Tres Amiga cast member, Shannon Beador. These two will never patch things up.

RHOC star Heather Dubrow tried to convince Tamra to film for Season 16. Heather stated, “I actually invited Tamra to a party this season and, unfortunately, it didn’t work out.”

According to Reality Blurb!, Tamra revealed that production did her dirty on the December 24, 2021 episode of her podcast, titled Two T’s in a Pod.  Teddi Mellencamp is Tamra’s co-host. Tamra said that she considered quitting the show during the Season 14 reunion. Wow!

She stated, “Every way that they could make me look bad they made me look bad in my last season. I was involved in this big lawsuit and people were bringing it up. They didn’t show any of my business,” the fitness center owner commented.

“So, I was like, ‘There’s no reason [to go to the reunion]. I’m quitting.’” Tamra explained that she thought about skipping the reunion, but then made her mind up to attend. And she decided to quit during production. Well, that’s one way to make your exit memorable.

Tamra told one of the producers, Alex Baskin, about her well-thought out plan. “I was telling Alex, ‘I think I’m just ogling to go and say I want to be the first housewife to resign at the reunion,’” Tamra remarked. “He’s like, ‘Please don’t do that. You never know what you’re going to be when the pickup letters come.’”

That turned out to be good advice, because both Tamra and her partner-in-crime Vicki Gunvalson signed on for Season 2 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Several former Housewives stayed at the Berkshires estate of Real Housewives of New York alum Dorinda Medley. I love the Bezerkshires! You know Dorinda made it nice.

Tamra and Vicki bunked together. Shocker! And Vicki managed to find herself in the middle of the drama. “Let’s just put it that way — she had a rough start,” Tamra commented. Tamra, Vicki, and Dorinda were joined by Eva Marcille and Phaedra Parks from Real Housewives of Atlanta, and RHONY alum Jill Zarin. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Taylor Armstrong and Brandi Glanville also made the trip.
