Lala Kent Doesn’t Think Jen Shah’s Life “Adds Up”; Says Someone “Taking Money From The Elderly And That Does Something To My Heart And Soul”

Reality TV

Jen Shah was causing quite the stir before the second season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City even aired. News dropped that she was arrested and charged with money laundering and fraud. And that it just so happened to be captured by RHOSLC producers during filming. Truly, dream storyline in the world of housewives.

As the season aired, Jen’s castmates were forced to answer nonstop questions about her business and her alleged crimes. Meredith Marks, who has railed on Jen for “terrorizing” her family, didn’t mince words. Meredith preciously said of Jen’s work, “As a businesswoman, I do consider myself intelligent and [despite that], I couldn’t understand what she did. So that was a question mark to me.” Even Heather Gay, who has staunchly remained Jen’s friend through it all, saw some red flags too. Heather once referred to Jen’s business as “unsavory.” And also added, “Because I love business and I know how hard it is to make money in business — it doesn’t just flow.”

Now, Jen has one more person who is suspicious of her work – Lala Kent. As reported by Reality Blurb, Lala went on Melissa Gorga’s podcast with some thoughts. The Vanderpump Rules star, who hails from Utah, is admittedly “obsessed” with RHOSLC. Said Lala, “The storylines that are happening, you can’t make it up. Only in Utah. It’s crazy. It was a little bit of a drag the first few episodes and then they just slapped us with a bunch of craziness. I could watch ‘Bad Weather’ [Heather]and [Whitney Rose] all day. They make so much sense.”

What Lala doesn’t think makes sense is Jen’s whole legal drama. Lala noted, “I always stick by the whole, like innocent until proven guilty, but it doesn’t add up. Tell me that [someone is] taking money from the elderly and that does something to my heart and soul.”

Lala also seems to take the side of another notable legally embattled housewife, Erika Jayne. Lala once called Sutton Stracke to the carpet for being a “fair-weather friend” to Erika once her reputation took a nose dive. Lala said at the time, “At the time your friend needs you the most. you can’t step up to the plate and say, ‘If you need me, I’m here for you?’”

Honestly wondering how Lala of all people can give such grace to housewives she doesn’t even know when she can’t do the same for her own castmates/friends?
