The first official trailer for The Northman is here. Robert Eggers’ viking revenge film, which stars Björk, Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgård, Willem Dafoe, and Ethan Hawke, is in theaters April 22, 2022. Watch the trailer below.

The film, set in 10th century Iceland, follows a Viking prince avenging his murdered father. Production resumed in August last year after a long pandemic-related delay. Eggers co-wrote the screenplay with the Icelandic poet and longtime Björk collaborator Sjón. Focus Features will release the film in the United States; Universal has the international rights.
