Hi, thanks for sitting down with us today. I feel like this doesn’t get asked enough in interviews, so how are you doing today?
I reckon if things were any better it would scare me. One of my girl dogs just had 6 beautiful healthy puppies on Friday night and my latest single, (Christmas Time Is Coming) was released on Friday. Don’t get better than that!
Tell us about your relationship with music. Do you turn to it more when you’re sad or down, or when you’re happy?
I turn to music when I have a story I want to tell, happy or sad. I write songs just about every night But I don’t listen to much music. I don’t think I will ever run out of stories about the good old bad old days. And tomorrow’s yet to come. I don’t know exactly where I’m headed but I can’t wait to get there.
What themes seem to show up over and over in your songs, if any? Why do you think that is?
My songs are like the days of my life. They’re one of a kind, no two are the same
What have you found most difficult about releasing music?
Tell us about what you’re working on right now!
Absolutely nothing scares me about releasing a new song. I have released thirty-six songs in the past five years, all originals written by me. And each time I know that I have given it my all. When I let it go it’s because I am one hundred percent satisfied with it and that’s good enough for me.
Right now. I am working on a new album to be released in the late spring of next year.
I released 4 of the songs that will be on that album during this year 2021.
Do you have a favorite lyric or verse from your most recent single?
My latest release is a Christmas song and there is no favorite.
