Michael Meyers better watch his back because Kyle Richards and her bangs are returning to Haddonfield. Variety exclusively revealed that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG secured a deal to reprise her iconic role as Lindsey Wallace in the final installment of the revamped Halloween trilogy, titled Halloween Ends.
Kyle was just 8-years old when she first portrayed Lindsey Wallace in the original Halloween film alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. In the 2021’s Halloween Kills, she had a more active role as one of the townspeople who tried (and failed miserably) to hunt down Michael Myers. So when Lindsey miraculously survived her encounter with the killer, it seemed like a clear opening for her to return for the final chapter. Kyle told Variety, “When my character didn’t die, I was like, ‘Uhh, hello!’”
However, it doesn’t sound like Kyle’s character was originally planned to be a part of Halloween Ends, which is expected to premiere in October 2022. Variety reports that after Kyle received positive reviews from fans, the filmmakers revised the script to include her. They created an expanded storyline just to make way for her character’s return. So, what exactly can we expect from Lindsey in the final film? We’ll have to wait and see, but let’s hope Kyle avoids on-set nose injuries this time around. Kyle is hoping for more screentime with Jamie Lee Curtis.

“The last movie, I saw Jamie on the set, but we didn’t have stuff together. So I’m really hoping that there is more stuff together,” Kyle told the outlet before keeping tight-lipped about the plot details of the film. “I can’t talk about any storylines, but all I can say is that we start filming in January, and I’m so excited to return with Jamie Lee Curtis and David Gordon Green.”
Kyle announced the exciting news on Instagram with a caption reading, “So excited & grateful to be teaming up again with @curtisleejamie @itsjasonblum @blumhouse #davidgordongreen for #halloweenends”

Of course, her RHOBH besties flocked to the comments to show support. Dorit Kemsley commented with applause emojis. Lisa Rinna left a handful of hand-raised emojis and a heart. Kathy Hilton commented with a combination of applause emojis, hand-raised emojis, and a heart. That all loosely translates into, “We’re so proud of you, Kyle!” And they should be proud because Kyle is really making strides in reviving her acting career. She’s got the Halloween movies. She’s doing commercials. And this week, she’s starring in Peacock’s Christmas movie, The Housewives of the North Pole. She’s an actress!
