If you’ve already binge-watched all of season 4 of Selling Sunset, don’t worry. Netflix has plenty of real estate reality TV drama headed your way. Surely, there’s a fifth season of Selling Sunset right around the corner, and then there’s also its recently announced spinoff, “Selling the OC.” But even sooner, as in this month, there’s an all-new crew of real estate agents ready to make a splash. Netflix recently dropped the trailer for its upcoming reality show, Selling Tampa, and it really looks like it’s going to deliver.
The show follows the action at Allure Realty in Tampa, Florida. It’s an all-Black, all-female real estate firm owned by Sharelle Rosado. Sharelle is a military vet, and you can tell by the trailer that she runs a tight ship. In an interview with People, she explained how her military background helps her keep things in line at Allure.
“Being in the military, it’s always taught me to have bearings. I incorporate my military bearings into Allure. They know I’m the boss, and I don’t tolerate anything,” she explained. “If it gets out of hand, I don’t even have to raise my voice. I give them a look, and that stern voice comes on. They know it’s a time and a place for everything.”
We definitely get a preview of that “stern voice” in the trailer. In one shot, we see Sharelle calling out two of her agents in the middle of a meeting, strongly urging them to “step it up.” Something else we can expect to see from Sharelle this season is a surprise pregnancy. In the middle of filming season 1, she found out that she was pregnant with former NFL player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson’s baby.
“It’s a little hard because while we were filming, there were times when the ladies were enjoying themselves, having fun, drinking. In the blink of an eye, you just had to cut off everything because now you’re pregnant,” Sharelle told People. “I still feel like I’m the life of the party. But it’s just nice to give a toast with champagne. Can’t do any of that.”

The Selling Tampa trailer also introduces us to the luxurious real estate offerings of the Florida Suncoast. At first, it wasn’t clear what Tampa had to offer for a real estate show. It doesn’t quite have the same name recognition that Selling Sunset had when it launched because Los Angeles is automatically associated with fabulous mansions — it’s the land of the rich and famous. However, the trailer makes it very clear that the real estate business in Tampa is booming, and there will be no shortage of fabulous waterfront homes to drool over.
And following in the footsteps of Selling Sunset, we can expect boatloads of drama going on between closings. In the trailer, one agent, Rena Frazier, admits that she might be breaking away from Allure and venturing out on her own. “I’ve been really toying with the idea of starting my own brokerage and going out on my own,” she reveals in the trailer.
Selling Tampa drops on Netflix on December 16th, with all eight episodes available to binge. Check out the trailer below.
