‘Bachelor’ spoils its own show, reveals Clayton Echard’s apparent final 3

“The Bachelor” is coming for Reality Steve’s job.

An unusually spoiler-filled trailer for Clayton Echard’s upcoming season dropped on Monday, revealing the former football player was “in love” with three of his finalists and got “intimate” with two of them.

The Season 26 teaser premiered during “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All,” with co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe promising in true Bachelor Nation fashion that it could once again “be the most dramatic season ever” — despite apparently giving away much of what happens.

After opening with a slew of to-be-expected shirtless clips of the self-proclaimed “Midwest boy from Missouri that just wants to find love,” the shocking trailer ends with Echard, 28, confessing that he went all the way with multiple contestants during fantasy suite dates.

“I just want you to know that what I’m about to say is not gonna be easy to hear,” the reality star, who previously competed for Michelle Young’s heart on “The Bachelorette,” says during what appears to be one of his season’s final rose ceremonies. “I want to be fully, fully transparent, and I know it’s not easy to hear, but I was intimate with both of you.”

While Echard makes the revelation in front of a blond woman in a black dress and a brunette contestant in a rust-gold gown (ABC has not announced the cast’s names yet), he also admits to being “in love” with a third woman.

“He’s in love with all three of us?” one of the contestants asks, sobbing over Echard’s bombshell.

“Done,” another adds. “What in the actual f–k?”

Although an official list of contestants has not yet been released, three women were showcased heavily in the trailer.

Echard, who is also shown on the brink of tears, then says he feels “broken” before the clip cuts away to a shot of him holding an engagement ring.

Despite the drama, the medical sales representative let slip during an appearance on “Good Morning America” last month that he “did find love” — seemingly with only one woman — by the end of his run.

“I was a little skeptical going into the whole journey, but I’m so pleasantly surprised that things worked out much different than I thought,” he said. “I’m just so excited to watch it back and have everyone else watch it as well.”

“The Bachelor” premieres on Jan. 3, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
