Katie Thurston’s romance with John Hersey is red carpet official!
The former “Bachelorette” stars went the PDA route for their debut when they stepped out at an event on Thursday night.
Thurston, 30, who stunned in a black gown with a thigh-high split, was visible glowing at Stephen Lovegrove’s First Noelle Ball, held at the Mavericks Beach Club in San Diego, Calif.
“When it’s suddenly snowing in San Diego and your whole mood changes,” she captioned a video on her Instagram Story, which showed the pair kissing on the red carpet.
She first revealed her relationship with Hersey, 27, who was a contestant on her season of “The Bachelorette,” in November.
They went public less than one month after she called off her engagement to Season 17 winner Blake Moynes, 31.
“It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways,” Thurston and Moynes’ joint Instagram statement read.
“We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently.”
While fans questioned the timeline of Thurston’s new relationship, Hersey took to Reddit to deny that any cheating took place.
“Katie and I developed an incredible and deep friendship over the last half-year or so,” he wrote in a thread.
“The circumstances by which this friendship formed was a series of crazy, random, and coincidental events, that I’m sure you will all hear about at a later time. My point for now, is that we were ALWAYS platonic.”
Hersey continued, “The boundaries of our friendship with respect to her ongoing relationship never even required addressing because it was never a thought in our minds that we would ever be anything more.”
“Neither Katie nor I would ever cheat, push someone to cheat, or be involved in cheating,” he insisted. “It is not in our nature. It is not acceptable. It is not okay.”
