Danielle Staub has always had an eye for drama. Her time on Real Housewives of New Jersey was a chaotic mess that none of us could look away from. She brought thugs to The Brownstone during the season finale. And a wig head dummy to the reunion to demonstrate how her hair was pulled out. At least she was entertaining? Still, I wasn’t sorry to see her go. And let us all pay homage to “is bye a threat?” which is a phrase I still use to this day.
But apparently the Bravo universe wanted to give us one more round with Danielle. She appeared in the last few seasons as a friend of. Just long enough to pretend to be friends with Teresa Giudice, pull Margaret Josephs’ hair extensions, and flaunt her obviously doomed marriage to Marty Caffrey. You know, Marty “your husband’s in the pool.” More iconic stuff. But Danielle’s marriage failed and while she was busy trashing Bravo in the media, she neglected to pay her rent.
As reported by The Sun, Danielle is being sued by her landlord for $6,400 in back rent. Court documents show that Danielle hasn’t paid rent for August and September of this year. They also show that she incurred an additional $200 in late fees for the unpaid rent. If the case is scheduled for trial on or after October 1, Danielle has to cough up $9,500 to have the case dismissed.

Danielle is still squatting living in the two bedroom luxury condo with her daughter. The condo boasts views of the Hudson River and Manhattan. She’s been in the condo since December of 2020. And even though Danielle isn’t paying her rent, she’s still flaunting her luxury lifestyle on social media. She’s even posted pics of herself on her Instagram decked out in Burberry and Chanel. She’s also been promoting cosmetic surgery procedures.
While the property owner declined to comment, a source close to them said, “When the landlord enquired about rent payments or setting up a payment plan, she suggested that ‘if they have hard time paying our bills for the property they should apply for a government loan.’ I can imagine it is less than pleasant to see her showing off while knowing she’s not paying her bills.”
Apparently this isn’t the first time Danielle has run into some financial issues. She filed for bankruptcy in 2012, disclosing between $500,000 to $1 million worth of debt.
