Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is certainly heating up. And you know I’m not talking about the temperature in Turks and Caicos. We’re a few episodes in and it’s clear that this housewives concept is a hit. The housewives they picked for the show are perfect in this setting. We get to see a different side of them since they don’t have the longstanding feuds between each other on their own respected franchises. Well, that doesn’t go for all of the cast.
Two housewives that can relate to a longstanding feud on their show are Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. Teresa is the ultimate OG, with her star power transcending her Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise. But Melissa is the necessary thorn in her side that keeps the drama going. I don’t think for a second that these two are friendly, no matter how many times they have made up. Or whatever positive front they have to put on. It’s clear they can’t stand each other and their petty tift on RHUGT proves it.
But Teresa has a job to do to promote the show and if anything, she knows how to do it well. She spoke with Entertainment Tonight about her relationships on RHUGT, most notably the one she has with Melissa. While Teresa maintained that she bonded with everyone on the cast, we couldn’t help but notice a few shady moments when it came to Melissa.

When Melissa asked Teresa on camera if she was excited to be on the trip with her, Teresa appeared less than enthused. She quipped, “What am I going to do? Jump up and down? ‘Oh, yes, I’m so excited!’” Teresa did try and right the ship, realizing how bad it sounded, and said she was happy to be spending time with family.
Teresa also shaded Melissa big time during one of her confessionals. Teresa made sure to tell the producers interviewing her that Melissa doesn’t count as an “OG” of the franchise. Ouch. You have to admit in the world of housewives, that is a dig. Although Teresa isn’t wrong.
But it sounds like Teresa is trying her best. In a less than enthusiastic conclusion to her thoughts on Melissa, she shared, “No, listen, she’s my sister-in-law. The thing is, I would’ve wanted to go with someone I get along with, and that would be either Melissa, Dolores [Catania], Jennifer [Aydin]. Those are my girls. And of course, Melissa’s my sister-in-law, and I’m sure they picked her because she’s next in line to being there the longest.”
