Brock Davies Hopes To Reconnect With His Kids After The Pandemic

Reality TV

What is everyone feeling about the latest Vanderpump Rules season? Most of the cast has had kids and next to no one even works at the namesake’s restaurant that started it all. The show so far has focused on the same-old drama with James Kennedy, watching Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval Peter-Pan their lives away, and parent shaming Scheana Shay’s new boo and near stranger Brock Davies. I’m giving it a 3/10.

After Lala Kent came for Brock over his parenting arrangement, he decided to share his side of the story. In an episode earlier this season he claimed that after he and his ex split up “she felt like I abandoned her and the kids by coming to America…She moved on with the kids’ stepdad, who then fulfilled the role of being a dad for my kids.” Brock also claims he has become a “different person” since that time.

Brock, who is a personal trainer, had two kids with his ex in Australia. A son named Eli and a daughter named Winter. In an interview with Life and Style Brock explained, “The goal is once we get through this pandemic — once they lift up the borders — I’d get home at least once a month for a couple of days, depending on travel restrictions.”

When Brock does see his older kids, he shares that he “doesn’t want to talk about” his absence with them. “I don’t want to remind them of why I was gone. I don’t think talking about while I was gone would be good for the kids,” he explained. “I think it would just be showing them that I love them and they have a place if they ever want to come home or come visit and always be around here.”

At the same time, Brock wants to make sure his kids still know they are “a big part” of his “life in America.” He referenced his daughter, Summer Moon, who Scheana gave birth to in April. “First off, my two daughters have that namesake connection. I didn’t do it for, like, a one off. I wanted them to know that they had that connection,” he said. “Then, when they come over here, hopefully, I get to show them the office that I’m in and my business name is EDW Davies, LLC … That’s Eli Winter Davies.” Here’s to hoping Brock can get past a first name basis with his kids!
