Austen, for his part, is maintaining that he is now “absolutely” keeping his distance from her. “That’s how you truly have to be, he explained. “You aren’t a part of my life anymore, and you’re going to start a new family and I wish you the best.
He continued, hinting at a remnant of bitterness between the two, “but I don’t have to send a gift basket and she shouldn’t need that from me. It’s like, no, we didn’t work out. Moving on. Of course I’m gong to see her around town and on camera and I just try to keep it– let’s see if she’s capable of keeping her insults to a minimum.”
We hope this new strategy pans out for Austen, but we wouldn’t put our bets on Madison staying civil if it does!
