NeNe Leakes is THE OG Bravolebrity. Not only did she lay the foundation for the success of Real Housewives of Atlanta, but the franchise in general. No one can throw shade like her, though many have tried. She’s very rich, honey, and isn’t afraid to own it.
NeNe’s fall from grace on RHOA was disappointing. She logged off of a Zoom call, never to be seen again. Before we knew it, she was trashing Bravo and Andy Cohen any chance she got, even calling for fans to boycott the network. But in recent years, she’s gone through a major transition. She gave up her crown on RHOA. She lost her husband Gregg Leakes to colon cancer. And now, according to an interview with Ms. Leakes on The Real, she is eyeing a comeback. What a turn of events.
RHOA is filming its fourteenth season right now, and the cast got a total make-over. Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey are both out, and Marlo Hampton finally got her peach. Sheree Whitfield is also making yet another comeback, and NeNe sounds like she wants to do the same, in a clip captioned by @QueensOfBravo.

NeNe didn’t hesitate when asked if she’d consider returning. “I’m okay with returning to the show as long as we can work through a few things,” NeNe said. “I’m happy to return to the show. Besides, I have a lot of unfinished business with a couple of them they confirmed on the show.” Kenya Moore, sounds like the queen is coming back for her crown, boo. And she probably won’t be happy about Twirl and Marlo’s newfound friendship after Season 13.
NeNe also brought up her relationship with Andy, mentioning how close they were for years. “I love Benny Boo and I helped pay for his baby shower,” NeNe added. “I think that Andy and I need to have a sit-down and talk and then we’re off to the races.” I cannot believe what I’m hearing. I thought NeNe burned her last bridge, though I always had hoped she’d be back on my screen, reading everyone for filth. But if she’s so open to a comeback, maybe Bravo will think the same. She should have Miss Marlo be in charge of bringing her back into the show if this dream does come to fruition.
