We’ve all been following the off-season Southern Charm drama, right? I mean, it’s kinda hard not too, what with the crossover between Summer House, that has resulted in the ultimate love child. No, not talking about Winter House, but the coupling between Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo. A duo who is now completely Instagram official. After all the speculation, I’m glad to see that question has been settled.
Paige has begun hinting about making appearances on Southern Charm during the upcoming season, and I for one am here for it. I can’t wait to hear her deadpan commentary on Kathryn Dennis’ ‘colorful’ wardrobe. Literally on pins and needles.
This may or may not be slightly awkward, as Craig’s former boo, Naomie Olindo is rumored to be making her own return to the small screen, and filming Season 8. No stranger to her own off-screen drama, Naomie has been caught in the middle of a bad break-up with ex Metul Shah.
After making the move to follow him to New York, she found “terrible messages” and alluded to the split being caused by infidelity. I never did warm up to Metul. I still think he’s the reason Naomie left the show in the first place. But that’s just me.

While Craig and Naomie spoke for the first time in three years, after her split, the phone call was simple a reconnection between friends who had once been there for each other. You know, before they fought over pillows and attitudes. I think that’s nice.
As reported by People, on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Craig how Naomie was doing after her split with Metul. “I think she’s relieved in a weird way,” Craig divulged.
Craig said, “She’s happy to be back in Charleston.” This was a little uncomfortable to watch, since Paige was also in attendance in the audience. But girl handled it like a pro. This bodes well for next season, as I actually think Paige and Naomie would get along famously.
Craig went on to say, “I don’t think she was that happy in her relationship, and I think she’s just happy to be living her own life again.” Sounds like Naomie dodged a bullet to me. Fingers crossed we get to see a new, improved and happy Naomie when the new season airs.
