Fallout 4 Liberty Prime Nuke Bomb Bookends Revealed By Dark Horse

Movies

A set of Fallout 4 Liberty Prime Nuke Bomb Bookends was revealed by its developer Bethesda Softworks, in collaboration with comic book and manga publisher Dark Horse. One of the most memorable elements of both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 is the Brotherhood of Steel’s heavily-armored giant robot Liberty Prime. The 40-foot hulking machine is equipped with a powerful eye laser, along with several Mark 28 tactical nuclear warheads as its main armaments – both of which were heavily used by the mechanical monster during the Brotherhood of Steel’s campaign against The Institute in Fallout 4.

It’s been a little over half a decade since Fallout 4 was released but it’s still the most recent single-player experience of the series. Developer and publisher Bethesda currently has its hands full working on Starfield – which is finally releasing in November next year – as well as the long-awaited The Elder Scrolls 6. While the studio did release Fallout 76 in 2018, the online multiplayer version of the prequel departs from the series’ classic single-player experience. Thankfully, many fans of Fallout 4 continue supporting the game through mods that improve and expand the near-six-year-old title.

Dark Horse recently unveiled and opened pre-orders for Liberty Prime Nuke Bomb Bookends on its Dark Horse Direct website. The polyresin bookends are made up of two halves of a Mark 28 tactical nuclear warhead placed on split stands. Sculpted by BigShot Toyworks and painted by J.W. Productions, only 1,000 units of the product will be sold directly through Dark Horse Direct for $179.99 USD, with an estimated ship date sometime from July to September in 2022. It will also come with a certificate of authenticity, as well as an enamel pin featuring Liberty Prime.

The Fallout 4 Liberty Prime Nuke Bomb Bookends release isn’t Dark Horse’s first video-game-related collaboration. It previously released several limited-edition products for Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part II, Mass Effect, as well as a Geralt and Roach statue from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The company also recently announced its partnership with Guerrilla Games and PureArts to release a limited-edition 1/6 scale Horizon Forbidden West Aloy statue, which is also still available for pre-order.

The Fallout 4 Liberty Prime Nuke Bomb looks impressively detailed and would likely fit effortlessly into a Fallout fan’s collection. BigShot Toyworks and J.W. Productions appear to have executed a meticulous job sculpting and painting the product; and with only 1,000 units available, its collectability will likely go up if it sells out.
