90 Day Fiancé: Juliana Claps Back At Fan Calling Her A Wannabe Model

90 Day Fiancé season 7 star Juliana Custodio has been dealing with fans calling her a wannabe model and gold digger amidst her split from Michael Jessen. The young Brazilian beauty Juliana made her debut in season 7 and went through a series of ups and downs before marrying Michael on October 12, 2019. Two years later, Michael revealed they parted ways on their anniversary and implied that Juliana already had a new boyfriend. However, Juliana slammed Michael’s statement by revealing she was living the life of a maid in America after having been a successful model in Europe.

In his argumentative announcement of Juliana and him breaking up, Michael noted that the couple’s situation in the pandemic completely drained him. He claimed that he didn’t blame Juliana for wanting to leave him to follow her dreams and that their 90 Day Fiancé marriage had fallen victim to the pandemic. Juliana, on the other hand, set the record straight with her statement, proving that she still believes in her iconic line, “mens don’t control me.” Several 90 Day Fiancé fans and co-stars applauded Juliana for being independent and handling the matter graciously at the age of 23.

In her tell-all Instagram post that has since been removed, Juliana also wrote that she left her life and career in Europe to live with Michael because she loved him. Juliana is currently in Germany and she’s happy with the new phase in her life. Juliana’s 90 Day Fiancé friend Fernanda Flores showed support by writing, “This makes me so happy! Good for you love 🤎 keep it 🆙💪🏼” However, a fan accused Juliana of running away after Michael’s money dried up. Another fan added, “She had no money… except his,” and “she was a ‘wannabe’ model… not a model.” This is when Juliana, who also has her fashion store, clapped back at the critic by asking them to Google some of her work since 2016 if they feel she is a wannabe model.

That was the first time I move to Europe. God bless you,” Juliana added. She slammed the hater as she wrote that she isn’t bothered to waste her time and energy on people who post rude comments like them. In the first few episodes of 90 Day Fiancé season 7, Michael and Juliana pushed back against prostitution claims when she had difficulty getting a visa. It was revealed that Juliana has been a victim of exploitation and human trafficking as a child. She worked at a sweatshop when she was 8 and was sent away to China when she didn’t even know English. TLC star Juliana was also kidnapped by her agency, asked to lose weight, and slog at three jobs a day for a month, without any pay.

However, even before she met Michael on that yacht in Croatia, Juliana made a name for herself and achieved success professionally and personally. She was a successful model in Europe, owned two businesses, wanted to become a doctor, and supported her entire family. Unfortunately, in her response to Michael’s anniversary post, Juliana confessed that she was helping out Michael, his ex-wife Sara, their kids Max and Cece, and Sara’s husband Sean during COVID-19 financially. Juliana was the only person working in the household but was also made to live like a maid in the family. Thus, 90 Day Fiancé viewers calling Juliana a gold digger or a fake model doesn’t hold any ground, even though the show’s storyline may have suggested otherwise.
