She’s giving them single and strong.
Days after breaking up with fiancé Randall Emmett, Lala Kent appeared more confident than ever as she signed copies of her memoir, “Give Them Lala,” for a legion of fans at a Los Angeles Barnes & Noble Wednesday night.
A spy exclusively told Page Six that one fan expressed concern for the “Vanderpump Rules” star, 31, at the event and asked how she was holding up in the wake of her split.
“I’m doing what I can,” replied Kent, who shares 7-month-old daughter Ocean with the film and TV producer.
When the fan told Kent that whatever decision she makes about her future with Emmett, 50, would be the “right one,” she responded with her signature sass.
“I’m a smart bitch,” said the Bravolebrity, who turned heads in a shimmering blush minidress but notably left her engagement ring at home.
Kent — who was spotted without her sparkler earlier this week, too — was accompanied by her mother, Lisa Burningham, and two male pals.
The author’s loved ones were particularly amused by the aforementioned attendee’s T-shirt, which read, “Dump Him.” After the fan told Kent that he wore the shirt “in honor” of her calling it quits with Emmett, her mom stood up to snap a pic of the two posing together. Kent was heard telling the fan that she “really loved” the gesture.
The Give Them Lala Beauty founder’s event came hours after she thanked her fans for lifting her up — and supporting her literary endeavors — as she navigates a new chapter without Emmett.
“I love you all and I’m thankful for ALL the support. Truly. This book feels like another lifetime,” she wrote on Instagram, acknowledging her tome’s May 4 release date. “But I’m thankful I get to look back on moments, to see just how far I have come.”
She concluded, “I am unbreakable, thanks to you all.”
Page Six broke the news on Monday that Kent dumped Emmett after he allegedly cheated on her in Nashville. Breakup rumors had circulated Sunday night after the “Row” actress archived or deleted any photos with the Hollywood veteran on Instagram. She also “liked” a social media post about Emmett’s alleged interactions with two women in Music City.
That same night, Kent shared video footage of herself checking into the Beverly Hills Hotel with their daughter as Beyoncé’s infidelity anthem “Sorry” played in the background.
“Randall always lives a double life,” an insider told us of Emmett, who shares two older children, London and Rylee, with ex-wife Ambyr Childers.
“He lives the life of a husband or boyfriend, and then he lives the life of a serial partier and then goes on a bender.”
Kent ended things with Emmett three years after accepting his proposal while celebrating her birthday in Mexico. Though they had plans to tie the knot in 2020, their wedding ceremony was indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
One week before Kent pulled the plug on her romance with Emmett, she admitted to Page Six that their relationship made “zero sense” — but was nonetheless looking forward to lifting the veil on their previously guarded home life this season on “Vanderpump Rules.”
“I know that my relationship makes absolutely no sense on paper,” Kent, who is 19 years Emmett’s junior, exclusively told us on Oct. 11 during Travel & Give’s fourth annual fundraiser at TomTom in West Hollywood.
However, “It’s wonderful to have him on this season,” she continued, reflecting on the duo’s once-polarizing age gap. “Our relationship was so unexpected, and we never thought we’d showcase it on TV like this because there was so much judgment surrounding it in the beginning.”
Kent went on to say that she believes audiences have only “seen [her] relationship from afar” prior to the latest installment of the hit Bravo reality series, which she joined in 2015’s Season 4 as a SUR hostess.
“I feel like as time goes on, you’ll see him more and maybe you’ll think to yourself, ‘OK, this does make sense.’ At least that’s my hope for viewers,” she said. “They finally get to dive into what our relationship is about.”
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
