Reality could be setting in for Suzanne Somers.
The “Three’s Company” star-turned-anti-aging guru could be getting an upcoming reality TV series, Page Six has exclusively learned.
Somers and her producer husband, Alan Hamel, recently sold their Palm Springs, Calif., compound — where they’ve lived since they wed in 1977 — for $8.5 million. They’re moving into “sexy” new digs in the area, she previously told us.
But while she’s currently in “unpacking hell,” the TV star — who turned 75 on Saturday — told us of the potential new series and husband Hamel, “It’s a reality show … he’s dragging me [into it] because I am going to work a lot,” she joked. “He is meeting with lawyers and things like that — so something serious is happening.”
She added, “I’m digging working from home.”
Sources said the show would center on Somers and Hamel living in their new home, as well as their family and grandchildren.
Somers’ granddaughter, “The Bold and the Beautiful” star Camelia Somers, has recently been making headlines of her own. She is dating former “Glee” heartthrob Chord Overstreet, and recently appeared in his latest music video.
Earlier this summer, the grandmother-granddaughter duo of Suzanne and Camelia, 26, also posted a shot together on social media with both wearing denim shorts.
Another granddaughter, Daisy Hamel-Buffa, is the lead singer of the LA band, Daisy, which just released a new EP.
Suzanne captioned the Instagram shot, “Who wears short shorts? Twinning with my granddaughter … I have always told the kids, ‘I’m a different kind of grandmother!’”
Somers and Hamel also regularly appear in their own Facebook Live show, which has been set at “Big Al’s Bar,” the private poolside watering hole the couple created at their former home.
They’re continuing the online show at their new digs as well.
She said of the online show — we wonder if it could potentially set the vibe for their next show — “We always do the show with tequila … nobody feels guilty.”
She also recalled of her early ’90s talk show, “The Suzanne Somers Show,” “In the days when I had my own talk show, and different talk shows that we pitched, you get this cookie-cutter talk show — I was so bored.” But with the digital format: “I sit in front of a camera when we start the show. [It’s] authentic and real, and you listen. The truth is mesmerizing — if you don’t phony it up.”
The healthy living advocate recently appeared on the inaugural cover of Park Magazine, and told us the shoot is her favorite to date. “I’ve been on hundreds of magazine covers,” she said, “I looked at this cover and I thought, ‘Y’know it ain’t over.’”
She added, “I always thought I’d be old at 75. Chronologically I am old, but I’m not old. [It’s about] how young is your energy?”
For her 73rd birthday in 2019, she’d posted a nude pic that was snapped by Hamel on their property. She told us of the image, which set the internet ablaze, “We were wandering along one of the paths … and I took my top down. It was hot. The flowers were flowering, the bees were bee-ing … it just seemed like the right thing to do.”
She also joked of Hamel, “He’s seen me naked before.”
