Kardashians Still Working With Britney Spears’ Ex-Manager

Movies

Various members of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family have reportedly continued to work with Lou Taylor, Britney Spears’ former business manager, within the year 2021. The Kardashian-Jenner family has had business ties with Lou throughout Britney’s conservatorship battle. Members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have made supportive statements regarding Britney, but connections to Lou and others raise some suspicions. Fans wonder how genuine the KUWTK alums’ statements have been.

Lou is the founder and current CEO of Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group. He began working with the Spears family in 2004, before becoming involved in the management of Britney’s estate following the beginning of the highly controversial conservatorship. Kim Kardashian’s connection to Britney is noted as beginning in the early 2000s, before Kim’s eventual rise to stardom. Britney was sometimes seen with Kim and Paris Hilton. Britney and Kim mentioned one another sparingly throughout the years, and Kim has been mostly silent amid Britney’s recent legal battle. In 2010, Kim began a journey to become a lawyer. Fans began speculating that she would help Britney in court. However, the Kardashian family remained quiet when many other celebrities were publicly using the now-famous hashtag, #freebritney.” Some sources claim that Kim has compassionately reached out to Britney privately to discuss the conservatorship. However, no legal moves from Kim appear to have been made. Kim, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner have worked with Lou Taylor for several years.

The Kardashian-Jenner ties to Britney’s former manager apparently continued throughout the public conservatorship hearings. According to California Secretary of State documents attained by Page Six, Lou has been an “agent for service of process” (someone in charge of the legal communications for businesses) for several of Kim’s businesses, as well as other Kardashian-Jenner-owned companies. The list reportedly includes Kim’s “KKW Fragrance LLC and KimsAPrincess Inc., Kylie Jenner’s eponymous corporation, Kris Jenner’s nonprofit Kardashian Jenner Family Foundation Inc.” as well as “Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Enterprises LLC.” Lou (and the address for Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group) was allegedly “listed in paperwork filed for KKW Fragrance LLC” in November of 2020, and KimsAPrincess Inc. documents. Lou and Tri Star were additionally named in paperwork for KingKylie LLC in December of 2020, the Kardashian Jenner Family Foundation Inc. in July of 2020, and Kendall Jenner Inc. in May of 2021.

The Kardashian-Jenner business endeavors did not list Lou’s name in filings for KKW Fragrance LLC or Kendall Jenner Inc. in July of 2021. Instead, a business by the name of eResidentAgent Inc., using the Tri Star address, was listed. In 2019, Kris hired Britney’s former bodyguard Edan Yemini, who has been accused of helping to record Britney’s private conversations on her cellphone and in her bedroom. Page Six reports that an unnamed source maintains that the Kardashian-Jenner family “only want the best for Britney and wish her genuine happiness.Lou’s attorney wrote to Page Six, denying that he had any part “in the creation” of Britney’s conservatorship, though many fans and members of the Free Britney movement believe otherwise.

Some Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars have shown support for the Free Britney movement on social media here and there, it is unclear whether or not the family has any intention of ceasing business with the entities accused of violating the rights of the pop star. Some fans of Kim may be holding out hope that the entrepreneur will offer legal help to Britney in the future. However, others will recall that while Kim has taken the baby bar exam twice, she has not passed the crucial law exam. Ultimately, ongoing ties to the web Britney seems to have been struggling to escape from for over a decade suggest that Kim, as well as other members of the family, will continue to prioritize Kardashian-Jenner business ventures over Britney’s well-being.
