“Little People, Big World” stars Zach and Tori Roloff made a surprise announcement Thursday night when they revealed to fans they were leaving Oregon for Washington State.
“We said goodbye to our sweet, cozy, unique, and very green house in Portland yesterday!!” Tori wrote in an Instagram post. “We have had so many beautiful memories in that house including bringing our sweet bean home from the hospital, countless gatherings, and just a whole lot of love. We will miss Portland but we’re so excited for our new adventure in … Washington.”
At the same time, Tori confirmed that they were still on the show — putting rumors that they had quit to bed.
“Still filming! Can’t wait to share all the madness with everyone,” she wrote on social media.
The Post has obtained photos of the family’s new home, located just across the bridge from where they previously lived.
Property records reveal they shelled out almost $1 million for a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Battle Ground — a slight downgrade from their Oregon abode, which had five bedrooms.
Located in the countryside, the home gets the best of both worlds, as it’s only a few minutes to the city, according to the listing.
Spanning over 3,300 square feet, Tori and Zach closed on the home just last week.
Secluded on a massive 2 acres of land, the home features an open floor plan, an expansive kitchen with an island and several storage spaces.
Newly built in 2018, the main living room comes with a wood-burning fireplace. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, with the primary bedroom on the second floor.
All three bathrooms boast heated floors.
Many fans were saddened to learn that this meant the couple would not be taking over the Roloff family farm from patriarch Matt Roloff when it was time to do so, as many had apparently hoped.
Tori, a Washington native herself, confirmed those facts on her Instagram.
“Sometimes things work out for the better,” Tori said in response to a fan telling her she hoped they would’ve taken over the farm.
The TLC personalities share two children — son Jackson, 4, and daughter Lilah, 22 months — as well as a dog, Murphy.
The couple wed in July 2015 in Oregon, one year after their engagement.
In March, the pair revealed that they had suffered a miscarriage.
“Everyone says it’s nothing that I did or we did, it was just [that] this baby wasn’t viable for life, but it’s hard to, like, not wonder what happened on that day,” Tori explained in an episode of the TLC show. “But it is common. It happens to more people than you think, but you just never think it’s gonna happen to you especially after two full-term babies and zero complications. I think that’s why it hit us, especially me, so hard.”
