Are Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green “loving each other too much” on “Dancing With the Stars?”
The real-life couple, who are competing on Season 30 together, have been receiving mixed reviews from fans and judges over the amount of romance they’ve been showcasing in the ballroom.
Monday’s kick off to “Disney Week” was especially tough for the duo. They were challenged to dance a waltz to “Someday My Prince Will Come” and portray Snow White and her prince.
Despite the fairy tale vibe the performance called for, judge Len Goodman, 77, didn’t hold back with his distaste for “the kissing and cuddling and messing about.”
“I wanted to see a much more traditional waltz,” he explained.
Fellow judge Bruno Tonioli, 65, agreed, saying, ”Sometimes too much sweetness gives you a toothache.”
Many fans took to Twitter during the live show to share their thoughts on the harsh feedback.
“They picked the song choice and dance style for Brian and Sharna and then criticized them for it being a romantic dance. SMH,” one fan wrote. “Plus, if you watched Sharna’s IG stories [over the weekend] Brian has neurological issues that make it difficult for him to learn choreo … learning two dances is especially hard for him.”
“This was the right week for all the love,” a second tweeted.
Longtime fans of “DWTS” also brought up the fact that for a competition that is usually all about the “showmances,” people seem to not be digging it this season.
“They’ll never serve like Alan & Alexis,” one fan joked, referencing Alan Bersten and Alexis Ren’s short-lived romance.
Others sided with Goodman and Tonioli, arguing that Green hasn’t been showing “enough dance content.”
“Len is 100% right about BAG and Sharna. At some point Sharna is gonna have to make Brian actually dance for the majority of the dance,” one fan noted.
“I feel like [Sharna’s] choreo has been lacking this season compared to other seasons,” another observed. “I’d love to see her come out with more for Brian to do during dances, more content.”

This isn’t the first time Burgess, 36, and Green, 48, have dealt with comments over their PDA this season.
While speaking to Page Six and other reporters during a post-show presser last month, the dance pro admitted that working with her boyfriend has been “a challenge.”
“It’s a learning curve for me; I’ve never done this before,” Burgess said at the time. “I’ve never dated anyone that I’ve danced with, whether it was in my competition life or my ‘Dancing With the Stars’ career. So everything for me is new.”
She continued, “Learning that balance every day in how to approach it, I think that’s the biggest challenge. And it doesn’t mean it’s bad either. We haven’t had a bad moment for us because our communication is so great. So anything that arises, we discuss it.”
“Disney Week” continues Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC with “Villains Night,” when Burgess and Green will dance a Paso Doble to “He’s A Pirate” from “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl.”
