RHOA: NeNe Leakes Thanks The Guys Sliding In Her DMs

Movies

NeNe Leakes is shouting out all the gentlemen jumping into her DMs as the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum heals with the recent passing of her husband Gregg Leakes. NeNe has been transparent with how she’s handling Gregg’s death. The Bravo star was supported by swarms of family and friends at a celebration of life party she hosted for her husband. As a widow, NeNe is now getting offers to hop back into the dating pool.

NeNe and Gregg were together for over two decades before he passed away from cancer. Gregg battled the disease for three years before it took his life. Part of his health journey was shared on NeNe’s last few seasons on RHOA. The couple became a staple in the Housewives community and the only pair to get divorced and remarried on the show. The bond and love they shared was unmatched and one that will be remembered as their Real Housewives legacy carries on. Since Gregg’s passing, NeNe shared posts showing how heartbroken she is over his loss.

As she continues to mourn the loss of her husband, NeNe is opening up about the men who have already started reaching out to her. ”Thank you to everybody. All the gentlemen that have been in my DMs, thank y’all too,” NeNe said in an Instagram Story video captured by ET. “Heyyy,NeNe said while wiggling her eyebrows in a flirtatious way. “I’m just over here doing me right now, but hey!” she continued. “I love reading the messages. They are inspiring to say the least. Thank you.”

Gregg passed away last month at the age of 66. Following his death, NeNe posted a heartwarming tribute on her Instagram page showing a video of them dancing together. She held a memorial for her late husband shortly after, as it was Gregg’s request not to have a funeral service. After the memorial, NeNe opened up about how she’s handling this tragic loss. ”I have a whole group of people that’s coming to my house every day doing different stuff with me. So, trying to keep my mind off of… events that recently happened,” NeNe said. “Love you guys. I’m OK and I’m pushing through.” She admitted that she’s still having “good days and bad days” while noting how she’s “pushing through” the pain.

Gregg’s passing came one year after NeNe announced her departure from RHOA. She followed it up with a messy boycott against Bravo and accusations of racism and discrimination. There have been reports claiming that NeNe might make a guest appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14 since most of the cast attended Gregg’s memorial. But considering the terms that NeNe left on, it’s likely that she’ll be making a comeback anytime soon. Most recently, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams announced their exits from the show as well. The big news came a year after NeNe blindsided the Housewives community with her departure. With her and Porsha’s absence, fans are wondering who will help bring the drama next season.
