Horror

If you’re in the mood for a horror adventure title, indie creator Alessandro Guzzo might have the thing for you. Particularly if you’re into Lovecraft. The spiritual successor to 2017’s The Land of Pain, Guzzo’s new game, The Alien Cube, heads to Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 14th.

The title centres on Arthur, who is out to find the truth about the mysterious disappearance of his uncle Edgar, the protagonist of The Land of Pain. The world in which Arthur lives is intertwined with a terrible secret, which somehow involves Edgar. Tormented by nightmarish visions, Arthur will begin a journey of discovery to find his uncle and uncover the truth.

The Alien Cube will take you through various locales, featuring an immersive atmospheric soundtrack “extracted from the abyss of your worst fears.” Along the way, you’ll be interacting with the world, and solving puzzles to uncover clues and advance your journey.
