Last year, the Kardashian family decided to wrap up Keeping Up With The Kardashians after 20 long and interesting seasons, to say the least. The show was groundbreaking in the reality TV realm and helped pave the way for so many popular shows we know and love today. We watched Kim Kardashian and her fam grow up, get married, have their own families, and deal with A-list family drama for over a decade. They basically invented the reality TV star to influencer pipeline, and you gotta give them some credit. And while they said goodbye to their show, it looks like it wasn’t going to be that long before the fam started their next television endeavor.
According to Us Weekly, Kim posted a photo on her Instagram story on September 23 of a microphone pack. She captioned the shot “Day 1,” insinuating something was starting. It’s believed that the Kardashians are starting to film a new show for Hulu, which was announced a month after KUWTK wrapped. Bible. Kim did previously tease that they were going to start filming in the fall, so the timing sounds right.
Alongside Kim, her famous sisters Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner will join her. Oh and of course momager Kris Jenner wouldn’t be missing out on this. She’s a businesswoman and the mastermind behind all of this, don’t forget. The true star.
It’s unknown exactly how the show will be formatted. It’s probably not going to be their day-to-day lives like KUWTK. But what does a new era of Kardashian TV even entail? Will we see more of Kim’s law school career? Maybe Jen Shah can get a cameo if she hires Kim as her lawyer (she wishes). Or maybe Kris will finally give in and join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and we’ll get to see some of the behind-the-scenes. A girl can dream.
Kim did tease that we’ll probably see more of Kourtney and Travis Barker’s relationship, which we know is a particularly sore subject of Amelia Hamlin’s ex-boyfriend. Hehehe. I know Lisa Rinna wishes her family could even snag one show like KUWTK. Let alone an entire media contract with Hulu.
