For a series that was making a name for itself in terms of high-flying adventure, exaggerated gadgets and pithy one-liners, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service represented a huge swing for the James Bond franchise. The greatest difference, however, was the fact that for the first time in 007 history, James Bond actually fell in love and got married.
