Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is more of a legal drama about Erika Jayne’s life these days than a reality show. But let’s face it — the real MVPs of the series are Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke. They don’t fall for the mean girl gang and their antics, questioning anyone whose stories don’t add up.
Garcelle in particular is a total queen in every sense of the word. She opened up to the ladies about feeling like an outsider and, contrary to Lisa Rinna’s beliefs, knows what it takes to be a good friend. She’s the only person who backed up Denise Richards throughout the Brandi Glanville hookup allegations. And the only one there for Sutton while Erika and her cronies attack her. All of that, AND she turns a good glam look and doesn’t make it her whole personality like Erika. Ladies, take notes.
Because Garcelle and Sutton are changing the rules on RHOBH, they both DESERVE to come back next season. And according to an interview with Radar Online, Garcelle hopes to do just that. When asked if she would come back next season, Garcelle said, “That’s the plan. The plan is to go back, so … Yes!” That’s what I like to hear.

Garcelle will surely prove she deserves that diamond at the reunion, particularly when it comes to putting Dorit Kemsley and her lame attempts at a storyline in her place. And Garcelle is sure to stand on Rinna’s neck once again for going sooo hard on Denise, yet giving Erika a free pass amidst allegations that are 100x worse than a supposed hookup with Brandi.
It makes me happy that Garcelle and Sutton also are genuine friends to one another, not just when the cameras are rolling (*cough cough* Erika and Rinna). It’s hard to join the RHOBH girl gang and feel accepted, as Garcelle was saying in San Diego. And being a Black woman, it has to be all the more alienating. But the RHOBH dynamic duo is going against the status quo and doing their own thing. And the fans are eating it up like it’s Harry Hamlin’s bolognese.
