Season 2 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is merely DAYS away and it can’t come fast enough. It’s clear from the teasers that Jen Shah’s arrest and ongoing allegations that she was an orchestrator in a telemarketing scheme that targeted elderly folks will be a major focal point. As will Jen’s other instances of bad and downright abusive behavior to her co-stars (aka Heather Gay).
Ahead of the premiere, Jen jointed BravoTV social’s Donald Adler and Real Housewives of Potomac pot-stirrer Gizelle Bryant in an Instagram Live to dish about the upcoming season. According to Entertainment Tonight, Jen says she’s been focused on her family throughout the ongoing legal battle. “God literally sent an angel down on Earth to me in the form of Coach Shah to deal with my crazy ass,” she said.
It’s not the first time Coach Shah and references to Jen’s craziness have been made. And it sounds like the two have come past their marital problems that caused so much explosion from Jen during her debut season.
Jen went on to discuss how inspiring — or better yet, “Shah-mazing” — Sharrief Shah has been throughout the ordeal. “It has brought us closer than ever. Which is, it’s crazy to say that, but it really has,” Jen said. “When you go through something this traumatic, this deep, people are either going to leave you or they’re going to stand by you.” OK so it sounds like Coach Shah is team #unarrested and believes Jen is innocent. I’d love to hear his take on her attempt to raise money for her legal bills via GoFundMe, but we’ll save that question for the reunion.

Jen says the situation proved to her that Coach Shah “loves me more than anybody or anything in the world.” Now THAT’S the ride-or-die Jen is looking for in her friends. Lisa Barlow apparently needs to take notes, if she’s trying to be in the Shah Squad.
As far as Season 2 of RHOSLC in general, Jen hopes people can separate the drama from the entertainment. “This is real. Like, y’all came on this real-time with Jen Shah, OK? This was rolling out real-time,” she said. Clearly, since she was apparently tipped off about the arrest while cameras were rolling. “I just hope people can see, this is a real thing. This is not fake. This is not made up.” Honey, I don’t think anyone believes an FBI investigation is made up. We just want to know the details and whether or not you’ll be found guilty or innocent.
