Fans of Sister Wives currently believe that Janelle Brown is the most content of Kody Brown’s four wives. At times, it may be hard to pinpoint which one of Kody’s wives is the happiest, but Kody’s second wife is often the voice of reason. She rarely gets upset, leaving fans to wonder if Janelle may not be the most together spouse after all.
Kody and Janelle married in 1993, shortly after Kody had already taken his first wife, Meri Brown. The duo has spent 30 years together and shares six Brown children, Logan, Madison, Hunter, Robert, Gabriel, and Savanah. Before moving to Arizona via Las Vegas, Janelle worked as a real estate agent and, for the most part, she has always been very independent. The large polygamist family has found themselves struggling over the last few years, as wives have splintered from the core group. This past season showed almost all of the wives upset, with the exception of Sister Wives‘ RV fan Janelle, who just dealt with the isolation on her own. She did have her children with her to keep her company.
Many TLC viewers believe that the Sister Wives stars Kody and Janelle have a lot in common. Janelle is funny and adventurous. However, she also seems to be the voice of reason when it comes to large family decisions. She rarely lets emotions direct her path through life. During the past seasons, Janelle seems to be the one Kody worries about the least. The patriarch also seems to have an immense amount of respect for his second wife.
While Janelle is the wife he argues with the least, it was revealed in their book “Becoming Sister Wives” that before the show premiered, Janelle, who was previously married to Adam Barber, walked away from the Sister Wives family. She cited postpartum depression as her reason for feeling low, and it took two years before she was ready to return to the family home. Some feel that this time apart helped Kody and Janelle to respect each other’s boundaries. This may have made their love stronger. Janelle is not afraid to embark on adventures with or without Kody. Currently, she is living in a luxury RV on the family land at Coyote Pass. Kody doesn’t seem to mind. Janelle seems to be granted more freedom than some of Kody’s wives, and viewers wonder if it has to do with her smarts. She can budget effectively and so much more.
TLC has announced the new season of Sister Wives, and the rest of the Brown family still appears to be in turmoil. Season 11 may show the cast members at each other’s throats. Janelle does clash with Kody over COVID-19 protocols. A press release even hinted that she and Christine refused to abide by their husband’s rules. Fans may be in for a surprise when Janelle finally losses her cool with Kody, and their perfect moments look to be in the rearview mirror.
