Erika Jayne Defends Herself After Being Told To Quit Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

Reality TV

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne is not in a happy place. Her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, is accused of keeping $26 million dollars in funds that were supposed to go to his clients. Tom allegedly loaned Erika $20 million dollars from his law firm. The funds were reportedly transferred to Erika’s company, EJ Global.

The RHOBH star filed for divorce from Tom on November 3, 2020. But the convenient timing of Erika’s decision led to speculation that the divorce was merely a scam to hid assets.

In the months before filing for divorce, Erika’s company, EJ Global, charged approximately $130,000 on an American Express card that belonged to Tom. And now the trustee in charge of Tom’s bankruptcy case has sued Erika for a cool $25 million dollars. The lawsuit states that Erika was aware that money from Tom’s former law firm, Girardi Keese, was being used to fund her lifestyle. Erika is supposedly trying to stall repaying the loans.

I am confused about why Erika filmed this season. She addressed the issue on Twitter, and responded to a fan who applauded her for not quitting. Erika tweeted, “I didn’t want to quit because it got rough. Life is tough for everyone at some point. I would of let myself down by running away.”

Now Erika’s RHOBH co-stars are starting to wonder about just how much she knew about Tom’s alleged illegal activities. Sutton Stracke was ready for battle. Since Erika lied about Tom’s bizarre car accident, what else could she be lying about? Sutton wanted answers to some hard questions.

During the most recent episode of RHOBH, the ladies attended an elegant dinner party at Kathy Hilton’s house. While chowing down on caviar, Erika told Sutton to stop talking about her life and that she never lied about anything. That dinner party was intense, and I’m not talking about that table setting.

According to US Weekly, Erika confronted her co-stars about their behavior towards her. “Look at me, c’mon. Look at my f—king life. Why are you all doing this to me?” Erika asked. “I’m looking at all of you. What are you doing?” It’s called asking questions.

When Dorit Kemsley remarked, “When you’re reading about victims and orphans and widows, that’s very hard to digest.” Erika responded by saying that she felt “a lot worse than you do” about the situation. Some sympathy for the victims of Tom’s alleged embezzlement scheme might be nice, Erika.

On September 1, 2021, after the dinner party episode of RHOBH aired, Erika took to Twitter to stand up to those who said she should leave the show. She tweeted, “God forbid I fight for myself. Stop thinking I’ll quit just because you think I should. F–k that,” Erika wrote. “Thank you to everyone that is supportive and understanding. I will not be stopped.”

As usual, the Twitterverse had conflicting opinions on Erika’s comments. One follower said, “Your behaviour at @KathyHilton’s house was abhorrent & shameful. Sitting in a mansion eating caviar while shouting “look at my life!” Like it’s a tragedy. Disgusting.” Another fan stated, “Innocent until proven guilty! That’s what I’ve been saying all along. #RHOBH

A fan posted about Garcelle [Beauvais] and Dorit having the same concerns as Sutton about being associated with the legal chaos. The fan tweeted, “I find it very hypocritical how y’all are coming for @erikajayne for defending herself while if it was Garcelle or Sutton in her place we would be having a different conversation! The hypocrisy of it all!! #RHOBH,” the user said. Erika “liked” the tweet.

A follower slammed Erika for her lack of concern for the victims. “God forbid someone mention the ACTUAL victims… which btw isn’t you.” Erika finally signed off for the night in order to enjoy a sweet treat. She tweeted, “Someone just sent me some yummy cannolis so goodnight Twitter. I’m going to enjoy myself. Y’all dumb bitches with the conspiracy theories will keep at it alll night,” she commented. “Check back in the AM.”

After all, Erika doesn’t “give a f-ck” if her RHOBH co-stars believe her, and she isn’t about to back down to anyone.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK THAT ERIKA SHOULD HAVE FILMED THIS SEASON? DO YOU WANT TO SEE HER ON RHOBH NEXT SEASON?
