Lala Kent Says Scheana Shay’s Man, Brock Davies, Hasn’t Spoken To His Kids In Four Years

Reality TV

The countdown is on for the return of Vanderpump Rules. The trailer dropped this week, and in spite of all the changes that have happened during its hiatus, there’s enough drama to make fans happy. It looks like Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and Tom Sandoval get into it over TomTom, while Ariana Madix slips and falls on her behind. But the real drama comes from resident bad girl, Lala Kent, who  throws punches at Scheana Shay’s fiancé, Brock Davies.

Most of this season will probably center on Lala and Scheana becoming moms, so, people’s parenting will no doubt be called into question here. In the trailer, we see Lala talking to Katie about Brock, saying that he has two children and that “he hasn’t spoken to them in four years.” Yikes!

However, a source has exclusively shared with Page Six that, “the comment was taken out of context.” This “source,” aka Scheana, says this whole thing is “a complicated family matter,” and that “fans will get a better picture of the full story — which is more than the teaser clip — when the show premieres.”

Brock has a daughter, Winter, and a son, Eli “from a previous relationship.” He and Scheana welcomed their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies in April. This means that Summer Moon has half-siblings, although it doesn’t look like they’ll be meeting any time soon.

The “source” also shared that Scheana hasn’t met Brock’s kids because, “the pandemic hindered travel between the US and Australia,” which is “where the kids live.” Page Six reports that Brock addressed this scenario on Instagram in a “June 2020 comment.” Brock wrote, “I will continue to work towards building the relationship with them.”

Is it just me, or is that phrasing weird? Brock alsoadded, “the kids have a great mother and step dad but I promise you I am doing my part to be with them.” Scheana– who is always jumping to her man’s defense, responded by writing, “honey you don’t have to explain yourself to strangers! Ever!!!”

I’m really hoping for Scheana that Brock is a good guy, because she has a terrible dating history. We’ll just have to wait and see! Season 9 of Pump Rules premieres on Tuesday, September 28.
