Who Got Evicted From Big Brother 23 During Week 7?

Reality TV

The six-person Cookout alliance is no match for the high roller room! During a season that could have been a slow crawl as stragglers were whittled down, the Big Brother house has kept it popping instead. What a week it has been! My head is spinning faster than Sarah Beth Steagall’s when she makes eye-contact with the surveillance cameras. Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?

SB won the first female HOH for season 23. Bangs and all. Tiffany Mitchell isn’t happy, since she seems to be the only one catching on to Sarah Beth’s long game of playing the aloof girl. Meanwhile, Kyland Young started whispering sweet nothings game strategy into Sarah Beth’s ear almost immediately. He essentially asks for Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss to be served up.

After Kyland’s request, Sarah Beth gets right to work. Knowing she has the High Roller Room award of Chopping Block Roulette and a Veto competition on the horizon, she sets up both Claire and Derek Frazier as pawns. Things seem to go pretty according to plan from there.

Alyssa Lopez won the Chopping Block Roulette (against no one) with 19 spins. She used her power to take Derek F off the block followed by a seriously cruel roulette spin that landed Xavier Prather on the block. It’s all good, though, because Xavier ended up winning this weeks Veto and earning himself safety. Unfortunately for DX, that meant he was put at risk.

SB, through all the twists and turns, granted Kyland his wish. She was able to land Claire and Derek X on the block by the end of the week. Honestly, I can’t say it wasn’t impressive. Even if she does dress like a strip mall festie. You go girl!

After giving his all campaigning, Baby Derek went all out in his eviction plea. He offered to remain as a shield in an effort to get back at Sarah Beth. Bold. But unfortunately, in a final vote of 5-2, Derek X was sent to the jury house to spend a whole week alone with Britni D’Angelo. Two of America’s favorites sent directly to the curb. Derek’s exit from the house was especially dragged out, a true testament to how loved he is. In his exit interview with Julie Chen Derek revealed, “Obviously, you can tell from my facial reactions. It sucks.”

To his fans who voted to give him extra BB Bucks for the High Roller Room, Derek X announced, “America I love y’all so much. Thank you for voting for me…I tried my best in there.” He also shared what exactly was going on with his not-so-showmance Hannah Chaddah. He said, “We’re super game focused.”

“Hannah is amazing. I love her a lot. Um. In there, you need have 100% of your energy focused on this game,” Baby D added. And when Julie asked him whether fans could expect a relationship after the show he teased, “Expect the unexpected.”

We’re about a month away from crowning our Big Brother winner and I have a feeling Tiffany’s upcoming week as HOH is about to be legendary!
