Former 90 Day Fiancé star Paola Mayfield has launched her merchandise and posted an adorable picture with someone she calls her number one supporter. Sadly, Paola’s supporter isn’t her husband, Russ Mayfield. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers may know that Russ and Paola have been together for more than a decade. They first met in Colombia and then got married in the United States in 2013. Six years later, the couple welcomed their baby boy, Axel Mayfield. Alas, the most popular couple of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise is now taking a break from each other.
Earlier this month, Paola posted some cryptic messages on social media, suggesting that her marriage with Russ is going through a rough patch. When some fans accused Paola of writing such messages to seek attention, her manager revealed the exact status of their marriage. Paola’s manager, Dominique Enchinton, told fans that Russ and Paola are on a break. She affirmed that they have a lot of respect for each other and that they aren’t planning to get divorced yet.
She said that Russ and Paola are still together and want to fix their relationship issues during therapy. Perhaps, that’s why Russ is no longer Paola’s biggest supporter. Nonetheless, the model-turned-wrestler recently announced her wrestling-themed merchandise on Instagram and posted a picture with Axel (seen below). She captioned the Instagram post as “My #1 supporter! I know he will be proud of his mami.” The mother-son duo looked edgy in the grunge-style t-shirts. The merchandise features a black background and a drawing of Paola “Blaze” in her wrestling gear.
The former reality TV star told 90 Day Fiancé viewers to check out her new merchandise on her website. The t-shirts are looking great, and many fans loved the design. A fan congratulated Paola and wrote, “The matching shirts is too cute!” Another fan said, “These came out AMAZING.” Someone else chimed in, “Love this and awesome shirt!” In turn, other 90 Day Fiancé fans were excited to see that Axel is looking just like his father. A few fans also appeared disheartened to learn the news that Russ and Paola are on a break. Paola was previously dragged by some fans who think that she took advantage of Russ and married him for a green card.
At the time, Paola was told by fans to go back to her home country if she was thinking of getting a divorce. Alas, the Colombian beauty hit back at such negative comments by showing off her American passport, explaining that the US is her country now. She dismissed the green card accusations and told haters that she had her green card for the last five years. It is great to see that while going through a tough time with Russ, Paola is able to focus on her wrestling career. The 90 Day Fiancé alum recently won the ARW Women’s Champion and shut haters down who thought she couldn’t actually wrestle.
