RHOBH: Erika Is Helping Ex Tom Girardi’s Firm Sell Her Memorabilia

Movies

In order to help Tom Girardi’s firm pay off the creditors, Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is allowing them to sell her memorabilia. The reason why Erika is selling all of her collectibles is due to Tom’s legal issues. Back in December, Tom and his firm were accused of embezzling at least $2 million in funds meant for the families who lost loved ones in the 2018 Lion Air plane crash.

Erika has also received some backlash for Tom’s legal issues, as many believe she was complacent. In the LA Times articles that the cast spoke about in last week’s episode of RHOBH, Tom allegedly moved around $20 million from his account to Erika’s LLC. Even though Erika claims she knows nothing about the stolen money, some viewers are beginning to turn against her as more information unfolds.

Us Weekly confirmed last month that the Girardi & Reese law firm would be selling items from their office following the embezzlement allegations. A few of the items that are a part of the list are some of Erika’s memorabilia from her singing career. There have been 25 bids placed on signed magazine covers, framed photos of the former couple, and the Billboard plaque for her 2009 track “Roller Coaster.” All the collectibles are currently listed for $350. Other than selling the 50-year-old’s memorabilia, Tom’s office is selling the firm’s ”office furniture, business machinery, and equipment, as well as furnishings and decorations comprised of art, oriental rugs, sports memorabilia, wine, music memorabilia, statues, vintage law (and other) books, a vintage piano, a Cadillac DTS and much more.”

Tom, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease earlier this year, claimed in court that he had no money left following the accusations against him. Since Tom was all out of money, the judge ordered the victims to pursue a collections lawsuit against Erika to obtain the $11 million they were owed from Tom. Erika filed for divorce from Tom in November 2020, a month before he was accused of holding money from the plane crash victims. While the reality star remains innocent on RHOBH, she was named in the bankruptcy case, and class-action lawsuit amid allegation’s that Tom has given her $2o million over the years. On the show, Erika has blamed Tom’s 2017 car accident, resulting in a head injury, on the mismanaged money.

Erika is doing her best to remain innocent, but the cards are stacked against her. The transfer of $20 million into her LLC is causing many viewers and her fellow The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills castmates to turn against her. Hopefully, the selling of her memorabilia will help with paying off the creditors and the victims.
