Erika Jayne And Tom Girardi Reportedly Slash Asking Price For Pasadena Mansion In The Midst Of Legal Drama

Reality TV

The current season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the Erika Jayne show. And instead of being the reality TV star she thinks she is, she appears to be starring in a soap opera in her head. Her divorce from Tom Girardi amidst his embezzlement allegations ignited the flame and Erika’s trying to put it out with her mascara-filled tears. But sorry Erika, it’s hard to feel bad for you when the orphans and widows of it all haven’t received anything resembling a public apology. And while you’re still flying on private jets and picking up your morning paper in a Versace robe.

Erika’s really trying to play the scorned divorcee on this season of RHOBH. But the victims probably have a hard time empathizing with someone who was forced to move out of a multi-million dollar mansion to a humble $1.5 million home with a cabana and a pool (not). It’s so XXPen$ive to be Erika that Tom had to (allegedly) swindle funds from his clients to buy her jewelry to fill the void in her heart. And while she’s crying woe is Erika, it’s hard to buy it. I’m with Sutton Stracke — the truth will come out.

Erika was kicking and screaming to avoid having to sell her $16 million Pasadena mansion, but you can’t fight the feds. Or a $26 million debt. The house went on the market a few months back — chapel and all — for $13 million, despite claims it was worth $16 million. However, according to a report from Us Weekly the price of the house has been slashed from the original asking price. The property is currently listed for $9.9 million, with four bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Maybe they should’ve listed it with Mauricio Umansky’s agency to try to get a higher bid. Or maybe the value went down due to the “burglary” that occurred a few months back. Veryyy peculiar.

Erika and Tom, if found guilty, are going to need to sell a lot more of their valuables to get the money that is rightfully owed to their alleged victims. First, the feds have to mull over both their financial records with a fine-tooth comb to find the truth in this situation.

And who knows how long it’ll take, considering the rumors that Tom’s conservator is pleading the fifth. But let’s all hope that the truth is revealed, no matter who’s implicated, and the victims get the money they’re rightfully owed.
