Courtney Veale Wouldn’t Want To Work With Hannah Ferrier As Her Chief Stew On Below Deck Mediterranean

Reality TV

The current season of Below Deck Mediterranean has started out with SEVERAL bangs. Just a few episodes in and we’ve already seen Chef Mathew Shea quit twice, Captain Sandy Yawn get screamed at by guests for bad food and a complete meltdown from Satan Lexi Wilson.  We’ve seen drunken guests who try to jump off the boat and fight the night before their supposed on-ship wedding. And it seemed like it might be hard to beat last year’s bombshell of a season, but it’s shaping up nicely.

Unfortunately, we still have to deal with the worst yachting duo ever of Malia White and Sandy. Their crusade that got Hannah Ferrier fired from her chief stew position left a bad taste in every viewer’s mouth. Malia, the snake, tattled on Hannah for having prescription Valium on board ONLY when a fight broke out between the one-time roomies. And since then, both of them have doubled down on their decisions, with Sandy, in particular, rubbing salt in the wound. And Malia was definitely NOT a fan favorite heading into Season 6.

New stewardess Courtney Veale also had a smashing entrance on the show, and I’m not talking about Mzi Dempers‘ face plant. She is obviously a girl who likes to party and keep things light and fun. AKA she’s a perfect guest for Watch What Happens Live, and made her debut on Andy Cohen’s late-night show this week. And while she and the chill Chief Stew Katie Flood are getting along just fine, Courtney’s not sure she could’ve handled working under Hannah’s authority.

A fan asked Courtney if she had ever tuned into Below Deck Med prior to her season. And followed up by asking if she would ever want to work under Hannah. “When I was in quarantine before my season I watched a couple of episodes,” Courtney replied. “And no, Hannah scared me. I don’t think she would’ve liked me.”

Malia was Courtney’s co-guest on WWHL this week, so she was probably giddy on the inside to hear someone talk negatively about Hannah. But don’t fret — Hannah’s doing just fine with her career and new baby without Below Deck. Meanwhile, Malia is stuck either flirting or fighting with her fellow yachties with Sandy at the helm.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK HANNAH WOULD’VE DISLIKED WORKING WITH COURTNEY? WHO ELSE FROM THE CURRENT BELOW DECK MED CAST DO YOU THINK TUNED INTO THE SHOW PRIOR TO THIS SEASON?
