Taking a bit of a nostalgia trip, one GTA Online player has managed to amass a garage full of cars from GTA: Vice City. With the recent Los Santos Tuners update, many GTA Online players have returned to the virtual world to check out and show off the new cars that are available. The garages of many players are filled with flashy, fast, and expensive cars as they prepare for races and meets.
The Los Santos Tuners update has re-invigorated much of the community by adding new missions, events, and locations to the virtual city of San Andreas. With a street racing theme, the update has added new racing contracts and the brand new Auto Shop, where players can display, customize and display their cars. All of this is run through the brand new GTA Online location, the LS Car Meet. Although it does cost a fairly hefty sum for players to access the LS Car Meet, the new content added with the Los Santos Tuners update has clearly been welcomed by the community. Especially the car-enthusiasts.
One such GTA Online player, a Redditor by the name of Linc_14 has shown off their unique collection of cars in their garage. Instead of going for the flashiest and most expensive cars, though, Linc_14 has created a collection based on a previous Grand Theft Auto title. All of the cars shown in their garage are from the 2002 installment, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Although this is a small collection, of only ten cars, this does represent all the cars from Vice City that have been included in GTA Online.
One commenter was able to identify all ten cars: the Deluxo, Sentinel classic, Hermes, Blista compact, Infernus classic, Phoenix, Comet retro, Sabre, Cheetah classic, and Voodoo. Many other long-time players began to reminisce about characters from Vice City famous for their association with cars, such as Tommy Vercetti and Lance Vance. In particular, several players referenced the fact that the Infernus is white, just like Lance Vance’s unique Infernus back in Vice City.
Even though the collection is quite small, and probably would be outclassed by many other collections at the LS Car Meet, the nostalgia factor is certainly strong for long-time fans of the series. Some of these cars still cost a significant chunk of change, so even amassing this collection is impressive. At the very least, Linc_14 managed to impress many GTA Online players and bring them a blast from the past.
