Southern Charm has always been a bit incestual when it comes to co-stars dating and hooking up. In the beginning, it was like every guy wanted a piece of Kathryn Dennis, with Thomas Ravenel coming out on top (for some reason). Shep Rose is the master of keeping his enemies close, but his exes closer and giving them spots on the show. And even when newbie John Pringle joined the cast last year, he had no problem flirting with Madison LeCroy despite her tumultuous relationship with Austen Kroll.
Now that Craig Conover and Austen are as single as Pringle, they’re living their best life. Craigy seems to be getting cozy with Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo. But who knows now that Naomie Olindo is single again. And Austen has been, well, doing his own thing. The Pillows And Beer pair have been partners-in-crime, embarking on the Summer House Winter Charm spinoff and other endeavors. And they’ve gotten real close with Kristin Cavallari following her dramatic divorce from Jay Cutler. Even though Madison thought the only reason for that friendship was to get under her self-obsessed skin.
Despite Craig’s pleas, Kristin has no interest in appearing on Southern Charm. And it’s likely because of the Madison of it all. Madison allegedly begged Jay to film the show and used their potential hook-up to get a rise out of Austen. And while no one’s intentions are crystal clear, Kristin recently decided to shut down rumors she’s involved romantically with ANY Southern Charmers, according to E! Online.
Kristin recently posted an Instagram Story to proclaim that she hasn’t “been involved in a love triangle since [she] was in high school.” So the Very Cavallari star is NOT getting into between the Austen and Craig bromance. Even though the rumor has been around for almost a year, Kristin says she “hasn’t dated anybody in a few months.” Looks like she’s single as Pringle too.

Kristin did not outright name Austen or Craig, but it’s obviously implied. “These two guys who I have been linked to for the past year are my friends. That’s it,” she stated. “I’ve never dated either one of them. I can guarantee that I’m not going to date either one of them.” Girl, never say never.
And even though the three of them are all on the market, Kristin said that doesn’t stop their ability for grown adults to be friends and that’s it. “it’s like a massive game of telephone,” she said. “So just keep that in mind. That all the stuff you’re reading is not always true. Maybe there’s a little seed of truth, but all the details are messy.” So whether you shipped it or not, it sounds like there won’t be any Pillow Talk between Kristin and Craig OR Austen anytime soon.
