“Southern Charm” star Patricia Altschul added her two cents into the drama surrounding Naomie Olindo and Metul Shah’s breakup.
After the split made headlines, a fan wondered whether Olindo, 28, should entertain dating Jay Cutler, who’s already involved in drama between her former co-star Madison LeCroy and his estranged wife, Kristin Cavallari.
“Me wondering how we can get Naomie and Jay Cutler to meet,” the Instagram account @lucyontheground posted alongside a meme of Altschul, 80, sipping a cocktail.
“I can do much better,” the socialite replied, believing she could find a more fitting match for her onetime castmate.
Olindo announced her split from Shah earlier this week and insinuated that he had been unfaithful by telling fans that he “betrayed” her.
“Nothing will be worse than losing my dad but this is a close second,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Tuesday. “betrayal is never easy for anyone and I’m just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages.”
She added, “I’m absolutely positive I will regret posting this tomorrow but so many of you have reached out saying you’re feeling a similar pain. I’m so so sorry.”
Still, Olindo insisted she did not want fans to bash her ex on her behalf.
“This is incredibly embarrassing and I feel so lost, I just ask that you please stop saying/ sending hateful things to Metul,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. ““I have self respect and will not be getting back together with him, but he is also in a terrible place dealing with the consequences of his actions. Please don’t be mean, he is human, and this situation is punishment enough.”
The exes had been dating since April 2018.
