A Petition Asking For Real Housewives To Stop Ending Episodes With “To Be Continued” Has Been Circulated Around The Internet

Reality TV

Erika Jayne Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

In general, reality TV has really come through during the last shit show of a year. Off camera, especially! I’m talking about the Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia  engagement news. The announcement of Survivor’s return. And of course, Erika Jayne’s divorce and litigation drop.

Then there’s the TV we’ve already gotten to watch. Let’s start with the double season drop of Selling Sunset. There was also the promised cast orgy on Real Housewives of Atlanta that was a little over-sold, but kept most of us entertained nonetheless. And who can forget the cast shake up on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season to add Kathy Hilton to the mix!? All we’re waiting for now is the actual drama promised to us by Erika Jayne herself.

The latest RHOBH episode left us with Erika waltzing into a room full of women shocked to hear of her divorce announcement. Just when things were finally getting good, viewers were slapped with a “To Be Continued” screen. THE WORST! Bravo has been notorious for teasing fans lately! And I’m sorry to be nit-picky, but other than the final episode before the reunions, isn’t every storyline/narrative awaiting continuation? Like, we know! What’s the move here?

Ryan Bailey, also known as the host of the So Bad It’s Good podcast, has had enough apparently. He recently made a petition about Bravo’s gauche overuse of the “To Be Continued” screen. Love me some light-hearted snark. You go Ryan!

The petition can be found at Change.org, and signatures are still needed to meet the goal. Ryan’s argument for the petition states, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has used to be continued way too much this early on in the season. I’m scared they are going to draw the Erika Jayne stuff out where she only has a couple sentences each episode.” Despite being told otherwise, I think we all share that same fear. This season better deliver!

The petition continues, “Bravo needs to strike and strike now. The Housewife and the Hustler has made the fan base rabid and Erika Jayne slowly sauntering thru a door ain’t gonna cut it. They also use this technique in a lot of their other shows. Every show is a “to be continued” if u think about it. It’s implied. ” No truer words!

In a Bravo world that feels constantly divided, maybe this is something we can all come together over.
